100K Milestone | Good, Bad, Who Cares?
My 2011 E350 wagon is approaching the 100,000 mileage mark. Someone mentioned to me recently that it might be smart to unload the car before it clicks over 100K. I thought that seemed odd, but figured I'd ask you all about it. If I did sell it, I'd just buy a newer version of what I have.
The car isn't under any warranty now and runs like a champ.

If you are happy with the car, just keep driving it! In Europe people would consider that a low milage Mercedes -- here people seem to fear high mileage luxury cars. Last time I was back in Europe, I rode in an E-class taxi with 370,000 miles. Still felt like a very solid car (from the back seat). The driver said it had been trouble free. Of course, he had gone through some wear and tear items like couple alternators etc. Yours is barely broken in!

And that taxi was a diesel.

I am at 95,000 miles on my 2011 E-350 diesel.
What has needed fixing?
One OX sensor under warranty, and I just did $300 worth of front sway bars.
I am going to run this for 10 more years.

There's a thread around here specifically about high mileage #W212. I have about 117k now and purchased with just over 80k. I've had issues with a bad cylinder which took several dealership and STS trips to finally be diagnosed as just bad pin connectors( About 2 dollars eachfor 4 in total) but dumped a grand plus just in getting it diagnosed right. However, just maintenance since I drove it pass the 100k mark and got new tires, new brakes, and a full tune-up minus 3 ignition coils.
If not for the lil hiccup I've been trouble free otherwise.
