Battery issue?? Info please
Reaching out for some help!!
Let me say had a weak battery was the original on a 2012 vehicle. Tried jumping vehicle with a friends car who thought was helping me out...was wrong. He connected his car while running; connecting the red to mine an instead of going to ground block went to screw next to it. Now I have engine light on.?? Did he toast something?? Or just burn a fuse here's hoping fingers crossed.

+1 on checking fault codes. Local auto parts store should be able to help get codes if you don't have scanner.
Are you referring to the post in the small red box in this pic as the ground block?
If so which screw did your friend use for the ground?
Did the car not start when your friend tried to jump it connected that way? If not, how did you get it started?
