Has anyone driven a E63 AMG as a daily driver in snow with snow tires ?
Probably a dumb question, I had a 2008 M3 and drove it daily for 6 years including winter with snow tires and it was just fine.
Trying to find a new daily driver that is fun to drive. Considering a used 2012 E63 AMG as a daily and using snow tires for the winter. If the snow is a foot deep my wife would be home and I could use her Jeep Cherokee.
Is the E63 AMG driveable (with snow tires) in a few inches of snow? or is the torque just too much to get traction.
thank you

This is a good question and I wonder what our E63 owners opinion will be.
However, I drive a E550 RWD in North Jersey and I only use All Season all year long. So this is a fairly decent comparison to a 08 M3 and I've had no issue although I have to be very light on the gas in snowy conditions or even rainy conditions for that matter. I've yet to use winter tires on any of my cars ever so I have no idea how much easier it would be if I did throw some on. Good luck with your purchase

Mine gets parked in the garage over the winter and cold fall... Not interested in subjecting the Amg to salt and harsh road conditions while I have an alternative vehicle to drive
Good luck
