16 E350 Wagon or 17 E400 Wagon?
I really love the new 17 E wagon design (exterior/interior), but it won't be here (US) until early next year, and probably I can find a better deal on the 2016 E350 wagon in the meantime, too.
Besides the look, do they drive a lot different?
Any thoughts or recommendations?
Thanks!

Buying a car at the end of a model run usually get you a better price and one with all of the "bugs" worked out. My best cars have always been at (or close to) the end of a production run).

You'll also get the new 9 speed transmission which may be smoother than the existing 7 speed ( the 7 speed is very jerky.
Not to mention all the new safety features.
BUT, being it's a first year production, you'll likely have to make more visits to the dealer for some issues where as the E350 is the on the 7th year of production so they have most of the bugs worked out by now.
It is definitely a tough decision. Do you want to risk having to deal with some issues and possibly getting to know your dealer tech on a first name basis?
Having said that, not all first year production vehicles have issues. I had a 1999 BMW 328i E46 when it first came out at the end of 1998, and over the 175k miles I put on it, it didn't have any new car issues, was the most reliable car I had.
