5 months in and loving my E350!
I've had my E350 now for 5 months, and haven't a single regret*. I bought a CPO E350 Luxury, Lunar Blue with Beige MB Tex interior. The only "mod" has been to put in sport pedals. I do use a winter mat full time on the driver's side, and I also have flares and a warning triangle in the trunk. Considering coco mats- I'm a long time fan of coco mats and had then on a car I owned in the early 80's.
More than enough power for me (sure, more power is more power but I also know this thing is as fast or faster than the typical Porsche of my youth), comfy, handles reasonably well (BMW- been there, done that in an E36 and E39, which by they way was truly spectacular and got along quite nicely with under 200 hp), quiet, good trunk space too. Surprisingly good gas mileage is a nice bonus- I can get 30 MPG on a longer highway trip.
No trips back to the dealer for repairs. Had one issue- gas cap cover didn't close properly but 5 minutes on these boards showed me the solution.
Color me happy! Interesting side bonus- as good as the E350 is, it's made me appreciate even more how rock solid my 2009 V6 Accord is as well. The Accord is not nearly as quiet but at 135,000 miles, it remains powerful, tight as a drum, and an all around good car too.
* a few friends along with my older son, have commented that the car must be a chick magnet. Looking at my build sheet, I understand why it's not been that so far- my build includes the magnet delete option.

Had my E550 for like 11 months now, done a few mods, love the car too. Only gripe is fuel efficiency, but I was willing to take that sacrifice for power.

MBWorld Fanatic!
Glad you're enjoying the car. Here's too many good miles to come.
And tell your son that he doesn't want the kind of chicks you can attract with magnets. Will save him some trouble and a few rashes.
