2014 E350 also restored: 1969 Camaro convertible SS 1957 Chevy Belair 2dr hardtop
1982 380SL
Does anyone have an idea what a 1982 380 sl is worth It has doth hard top and new convertible.105,000 miles. No rust. Body was redone new seats rugs and door panels. I am looking for a ball park figure. Thanks ahead of time

Hey, dbldpr is looking for a toy. These are not very valuable models and are priced all over the board. You can find them from 10-30 grand and it is completely based on condition and wear. You really need someone knowledgeable to look at the car's condition for you(PPI) to assess its value. Buy it as cheaply as you can. They made a lot and don't expect it to appreciate. Just have fun. The 380 is probably the least desirable of the R107 line. The '82 has potential problems with the single row timing chain if it has not been changed out at that kind of mileage. Unless the car is exceptional in condition and has a very detailed service record history available, it is worth less than $10,000. In most cases, substantially less.
