How to set Cruise control on 2014 E350
I was told that to set the new cruise speed I want I pull the lever toward me. If I want to erase the current set speed I push the lever away. If I want to increase the set speed I lift up on the lever and to decrease the set speed you push down. This worked fine going and coming from Florida and going down to Myrtle beach. On the way back it did not work. After pushing forward I then got to the speed I wanted and I pulled it toward me. It only resumed to the previous speed I had erased. The Dealer now says that pushing forward only turns off set speed and in order to set a new speed I have to either raise or lower the lever. Pulling forward only resumes to the previous set speed. Is this right????

I tried copying the page in the owner's manual for you but I couldn't copy the image. If you have the manual, see page 190. Or download a copy even if you have the hard copy. It's easier to use the electronic version imo.

That is how mine works (and how I tried to explain it in my post in the other thread, so apologies if it wasn't clear)... pushing away from you is like "cancel" in other cars and pulling towards you is like "resume" and up/down is "set"
The arrows on the stalk mean absolutely nothing as far as describing function goes. Almost like buttons in a BMW :P

In my 2010, you push up or down to set the speed or to raise or lower the setting. Slight tap up or down raises a mile, full tap raises it next 5 MPH increment.
You push away from you to cancel
You pull toward you to resume the set speed.
