"left Concerning Light" message
Hello everybody...
I have E 220 CDI, and it is equipped with adaptive headlight beam and interactive Cornering light function. <3
"Cornering Light" is the function which activates your cars fog lights whenever you turn on the Blinkers, this function activates automatically only in darkness.
couple of days ago, I got an error message on my dashboard "Left Cornering Light". Since then, whenever I use my left turn indicator, the left fog light doesn't turn on, it flashes only instead, and stays off while the message re-appear on the screen.
I was wondering if this is something more related to the software or the light source itself, please let me know if any of you have had a similar issue and how easy/hard it is to get it repaired,
I had an issue previously with windows and it was a software which you can reset even while driving, I hope this light issue is simple as well, I am not really interested in paying around one thousand dollars to get it repaired
My car fog lights are the golfstick design, which is an LED bar and doesn't have light bulbs. (similar to my profile pic)
I tried finding any information about it on google, but unfortunately there is only one thread which doesn't have the information I was looking for... so I was thinking to keep this thread as a reference if this issue happens with someone in future
Thanks in advance everybody
Hint : all (Concerning Light) words were changed to (Cornering Light) as its the right one

Ohhh that is so embarrassing :P
when I read it the very first time I read it like (Concerning) and it just sticked to my mind and didn't even bother to try reading it again
I believe that this is the only reason I didn't find enough threads talking about it on internet, cuz I misspelled it
thanks for the hint

You need to get the car scanned. It could just be the bulb that's out. You can get a cheap scanner like the X431 Launch Easy Diag Plus which will scan manufacturer specific codes.

There are no front fog lights. The LED hockey sticks are DRL's. The cornering lamp is inside the light housing and come on when your turn signal is on and speed is below 20mph. Your error sounds like a burned out cornering bulb.

it was just a light bulb, I could have replaced it myself actually if I knew it was this easy.
its a normal M7 light bulb, to get an access to its location, you need to dismantle the front left wheel, and the inner cover of the car body ( couple of normal screws ) and you have the full accessibility to the head light assembly
