letter from MBUSA for $2,000 off best deal in 2017

Received a letter from MBUSA asking how I liked my vehicle. I sent letter back telling of 5 items that are bad on car and said MB is aware of the problems but they are working on a solution. It has been 3 years working on the solutions. Still have the problems. Several days later I received a call from MBUSA executive. Let her know what I was dissatisfied with. Told her to go on Forum to see how many owners have the same complaints with no solution. Next day I received an email saying they would give me an extra $2.000 off my best deal on a new vehicle in 2017. Offer good for 1 year. I would rather have had them fix the 5 items that they have no solution for and they can keep the $2,000. Oh well I guess they figure that is the solution. Sorry but I am not interested in the offer Just fix the car. Why would I buy another MB car when they cannot fix the one I already have????? If I could transfer the letter I would give it to one of our forum members.

Transmission jerks , wiper blades skip, Navigation I cannot put where I live in it, Eco system sucks with no switch to permanently shut it off, sound deadening needed in trunk area because of highway noise

It's strange that MB can't make a smooth transmission, some American cars are better.

I think someone else mentioned using a different brand of wiper blades and they were fine.

If you're in a new area, I suppose the navigation hasn't been updated yet with your area. That may take a few years, they probably use a third party vendor and are stuck with whenever they update their maps.

Eco is a common complaint, I bet they did that for CAFE reasons.

Highway noise could be the tires, maybe try a different set.

Not strange for transmission problems with the trans jerking between 2 and 3 and 5 and 6
Should not have to get a non MB brand of wiper to solve problem of cheap rubber
Are I live was put in in 1945. Not a new area. Navigation in ant MB prior to 2014 will take my address they started using cheap Garmen head units in 2014. (Just my luck)
Only have 8,000 miles on tires and it made highway noise from day one. No insulation. Cheaply made underside of car. Would you Buy new tires for a new car? I solved the problem by putting sound deadening insulation in trunk. But I should not have had to do that.

I think they went to a composite material for the trunk lid in 2014. Where exactly did you put the sound deadening in your trunk? I would be interested in doing the same.

Took the spare tire out and completely did the whole area that is down there. Anything under the cover was insulated with sound deadening. Had to cut some small pieces but it did the job. Took about and hour. Bought the sticky aluminum foil backing from ebay. Have a lot left over because I thought I could do the wheel wells but it was not so. Not enough room to do the side walls. But by just dong where the spare tire was solved the problem for me
