RFT Snow Tires for E Class Bluetec

Finally some good news.

If you live in a cold climate, and have needed snow tires, but need Run Flats because you have a diesel with the DEF tank, there are now two tires available.

The Blizzak LM25 and the Hakkapellita come in 225/45R17, just a little narrower than the 235 or 245 that come standard on our cars.

I installed the Blizzaks today, and they are awesome.

I no longer need to keep a spare wheel/tire in the trunk all winter long.

These are 17" take-offs from a board member's 2013 or 2014 E-350

They are OEM MB rims.

What's the reason that all E class diesels come with 17" wheels ? It can't only be for fuel economy. I love my car but i want bigger wheels. I want to go with 19s, but am worried about the comfort. I wonder if i can mount a 40 series tires on a 19 inch wheel ? I would go for that set up
