The range of the escort is absolutely incredible. The laser jammers are inferior to AL Priorities which I will be adding, and the K band filtering is not great. I actually am planning to pick up a V1 as well so I can shut off K band on the 9500 and also add the directional awareness.
Did you get the bluetooth dongle/v1 connect for your valentine? Paired with yav1, you get lockouts and can really fine tune the v1 and create different profiles to bring that detector to the peak of it's capabilities.
I was on the fence between the two but decided with driving the Canyon between Denver and Breckenridge, the range was top priority and I don't regret the 9500ci at all. I love it. However it certainly takes supplementing to get the overall best protection in the market. There is no other windshield mount detector I would buy right now than the V1. How do you like it?
