Parking brake adjustment/compensator location
I assumed pads and just swapped them out. I realized that the parking brake is dragging inside the rear rotors. I basically never use it and haven't driven the car with it engaged so they should be fine. I pulled one rotor and there was still some life in the pads it seems. Is there a cable access under the rear seat like some other models, or any know locations that seize up or kink?
Pads were pretty low but not terrible, wear indicator was never triggered but being one sided I assumed the grinding was from the drivers side and not showing up on the dash.
Upside, to have new ceramic pads all the way around.... downside is I still have the grinding noise.
Car is just north of 44k miles now.
I'm hoping to not need to tear the rear off again so I can finally tackle the transmission flush and filter. These overnight sessions are killing me since I have no other time to do this stuff
(and parts stores are closed when I can)
