E 350 Will the Rear OEM 18"x9" wheel fit on the front?

I recently got a 2011 E 350 (My first MB, I'm super stoked) however the previous owner looks like he curb-checked the front pass wheel pretty hard. Want to replace it and found a set of take-off OEM stock 18"x9" rears uber cheap at a local tire shop but I don't know if the extra width of those rears will be an issue if I mount them on the front.

Does anyone know if this will work?

It'll fit as long as the offset doesn't go below 32mm I believe, for a 9" wheel. The OEM one should be 40-43mm (the 8.5" is 45mm), so it should be fine. But I would check the offsets on the new wheel and be sure before purchasing.

Only MBs - the best or nothing
The above provided info is not completely correct. The OEM W212 (both E350 and pre-facelift E550) 18x9 rear wheels' offset is et54 and will require 10mm spacers (12mm and 15mm can also be used) to fit front. (Also OEM 18x8.5 is et48, not et45).

Thank so much threeMBs. That is exactly the info I'm looking for. You rock like granite.

You're right; I was wrong about the et48 the other day too... not sure why I got it wrong again twice in the same week lol
