Help on 19" wheel specs
Hello guys,
Need your advice on the recommended wheels to get. Looking at getting 19" amg wheels for my w212 facelift currently on the 17" wheels. I already have a set of 4 new 225/40/19 and 2pcs of 255/35/19 I had picked up for another vehicle. My questions are
1. Can i use these tires on my w212 and do u recommend a square/staggered set up
2. What specification of wheels (ie width and ET) should i go for to fit the car and tires
3. Finally, how well do the matte black finish wheels go with the palladium silver color?

I'm currently running the 19" AMG wheels on my 2014 E550. If you are looking at the wheels I think you are looking at (Stock E63 AMG wheels) then mine are a good example to go by, as the only difference is that I have the gunmetal version where you want the black.
1) The 255/35/19 will work for the front. I don't think you can use the 225/40/19, but I am not a tire fitment expert, so I may be incorrect.
2) My tires (Pirelli PZero) are 255/35/19 front and 285/30/19 rear. I haven't had any problems to date.
*Though it should be stated that I have the airmatic suspension, when in sport ( the lowest setting) and the wheels are turned fully left or right, the tires have a very small amount of room between the wheel wells. If you have your car lowered, or plan on lowering it, you may run into rubbing issues.*
3) Color wise, the matte black will look great with the palladium silver (a personal favorite of mine) but if you want to be sure they really "POP" think about adding in some black accent pieces. (carbon fiber mirror housing is always a good start) - But thats just my opinion lol. love it or hate it, it really comes down to the question "do you like the way it looks?"
