Folding Mirrors on 2014

Folding Mirrors on 2014
Has anyone tried to retrofit and add the folding mirrors option to a 2014. I think they became standard in 2015?

There is a thread somewhere in this forum by a guy who did it. He had to spend a lot of money and do a lot of work but finally did it. In the end he was kind of underwhelmed at the end result as the folding is only partial even in the 15 model year (he said like couple of inches) and not complete as in other cars which fold and turn away. My advise is .... it's not worth it.
