Navigation went out again
Going to dealer for my A service today and my navigation went out on my way to them. They said it was the antenna. They actually stock them. Does that tell you that they know there is a problem with them? Screen does not go blank it just places me about 5 miles from where the car is. Last time it went out I was driving on Lake Michigan. I bet none of you knew that your MB drives over water. They were trying to fix it last time and all of a sudden it just started working. That was 1 1/2 years ago. Oh well hopefully they can fix it. Car only has 11,000 miles on it.

Dealer called and said replacing the antenna did not help. Navigation still not getting a signal. They may have to replace head unit, They said they will retrace the connections first. Crappy Garmin head unit!!!

Yesterday received call it was not the antenna. They now believe it is the cable from the antenna going to the head unit. Said they were going to fedex part overnight and it would be there first thing in morning. Today they said part did not arrive yet. I said I want a loaner come pick me up and bring me in so I can get a loaner. That is what I have the insurance for. I stated I probably will not get the car back until some time next week. They said I should have car by tomorrow. I bet tomorrow they say the cable did not work and now they have to order a head unit????? Time will tell.

They love the aoooga horn and some of the other things on the car. This time a went in with a blue star that lights up. They said they have never seen one. So far they have replaced the antenna and cable and the navigation still is not receiving correct signal. They said they tested the antenna and cable on another head unit and it also was not getting the signal. I told them then either the new antenna or new cable is bad. Still waiting to find out.
