Door ding

I noticed a door ding in my otherwise spotless E class. I was beginning to blame my wife for parking somewhere carelessly but now realize that it probably came from my other car in the garage which is a little tight in space. Is there an easy / inexpensive fix for this? The paint is scratched, it catches my nail and there is a minute dent visible only in reflections from an angle. I did a good wash and wax but doesn't seem to change. Thanks a lot guys.

Have someone do a paintless dent removal (PDR). Grab a touch up paint pen from the dealer. Fill it in, let it cure, wet sand it, than polish and wax. Should cost you under 100 between supplies and pdr.

ouch, looks like more chip than ding. I know how you feel - my wife hit my car with her door a while back. It's the only ding I have - no real paint damage as far as I can tell. It's a testament to our relationship that we were able to work through it.
