Why do you want to change the differential oil on a 2014 model car?

I have 125000 miles on mine (2010 model E550) and the dealer service said after I asked that the differential is oiled for life, no scheduled to be changed at all.

Differential oil is cheap and easy to do.
There is no such a thing as lifetime fluid.
Lifetime fluid ends when its contaminated from wear and tear, $30 is cheap insurance.
I dont understand being that cheap because some holy owners manual says otherwise. Owners manual is good resource but common sense is even better.
Gears are gears and require lubrication, lifetime fluid = compromised life. Just because differential will typically last factory warranty period, they call it a lifetime fluid but it does not mean it will last forever. I highly believe $30 is great value if it will extend the life of the differential.

There is no lifetime oil , every oils must change by owner manual , see Owners manual , also you you can check Maintenance Manuals in this link :

75w90 Synthetic is what I'd use, either Mobil 1 or Castrol. API GL-5 is all that's really required for the application.

ETA: A "lifetime" means "warranty period" in automotive speak. Which is why IIRC some service sheets for CPO vehicles include a diff oil change.
