Do I have a weak engine?

So I wanted to get baseline numbers so if I ever tune or do any other mods I can see how much I gained...the dyno was on a Mustang and it did 492 hp and 501 torque. I thought the number were right in line with what a stock 2016 E63S should be doing until I started doing some research. Apparently they're underrated and people are getting closed to 530hp at the wheels on a Mustang. What do you guys think?

Could be a number of things, I would think. Fuel quality, air temp/humidity, tire grip, wheel/rotor weight (maybe?), whether you used E/S/M mode, or Dyno mode, etc... other things to consider is how many stickers do those guys put on their cars? Remember those add 10hp each.

Dyno was done this past Saturday in Addison Il. Dyno was done in M+ in 4th gear. How does dyno mode work differently?

577hp and 590 torque stock...but this is crank. The numbers on the dyno are at the wheels obviously.

With these figures using 20% as drive-train loss my car has 590hp and 600 torque.

Dyno mode turns off the assists, like TCS, ESP, ABS, etc... basically anything that would interfere with power getting to the wheels while on the dyno. There are threads around here that explain how to enable Dyno mode. However, I don't know if anyone has confirmed a noticeable difference between the mode being on or off, so it might not matter.

Post in the W212 AMG section....may get more response. My understanding is Mustang dynos rear lower than dynojet.

Numbers look solid to me.

So you have an E63S with close to 500 hp and torque..... sure you have a weak engine.
Please consider a much needed upgrade to an E 350 or even E 400 if you could. Thank you in advance. .

Ok...I'm only asking because people are saying they're getting 530+ on a mustang, which is a different of 40awhp, which is quite significant.
