E350 Bluetec
First of all I am not english speaker.
Please understand my word, grammar.
Recently, I'm trying to buy the 350bluetec and my last post i got some comment.
The main issue in this model is oil cooler leak.
This is the almost same as most of german car. like bmw.
Anyway, one of my list (the car in mercedes dealer they have)
I got a called to dealer and they said this car had remanufactured engine.
I think i know but I am not sure 100 percent what is different between rebuilt engine and remanufactured engine.
My question is that is it good buying a car remanufactured engine from the mercedes benz orginal dealer?
Thanks and please any comment

A remanufactured engine is remanufactured to the original blueprints and exact specifications, and is tested to original equipment standards.
A rebuilt engine, the repair is done up to the level of failure. This directly means that the engine has been repaired up to the level of failure for which there was a need of rebuilding; but apart from that, components are left intact. The testing procedure of rebuilt engine depends upon the individual rebuilder from whom you are getting the job done.
So a remanufactured engine is better than a rebuilt engine. If the remanufactured engine is from Mercedes, then I dont think you can get any better. However, if it's remanufactured from someone else, there is no telling.
Good Luck!
