Hey guys, few questions: I want to do some CF bit, but I am not sure what is appropriate and/or what is too much or what is tacky.
This is what I propose so far:
CF Mirrors
CF B-pillars
CF Roof Spoiler
Converting all rear emblems to black
And lastly...has anyone ever seen or thought about changing interior wood to CF? I want that to be my ultimate mod...since everything on my car is basically black + white

What do you guy think?
I've never seen the B pillar done before but that could be pretty cool.
Someone else on the forum did a CF wrap on their interior and posted a few weeks ago. It looked good.
I like everything except for the pillars, and agree if you're going to do it, then do it all. I couldn't find pictures of your existing interior. Is it ebony now? I did see the photos of the guy who just changed out his interior to CF and it looked good.

No, my interior is Porcelain w/Black two-tone and stitching (unfortunately it gets dirty, and fortunately it's very rare and unique...lol). It was a Special Order option

I didn't see that, do you happen to have the post link?
Oh man, that is gorgeous! I wish I had that instead of silk beige. I will look for that guys post, but it was within the last week or so.
Thanks! Yeah when I saw it, I fell in love with it. The Diamond White car I found before this one, was identical but had black leather and had 794 wheels...but it was sold before I had a chance to go see it.
I was pissed. But then this beauty came along (with less miles and newer build date), and I am so glad fate had me be patient & led me to this one. I have never even seen another W212 car with the Porcelain interior.
Key, looks like your rear wheels need spacers... otherwise looks good.
And Tresean, I say do all but the pillars. Instead, get a CF lip, skirts, and rear diffuser. I forget who on here had those but they look amazing all together. They had the front lip with a splitter, and splitters on the skirts as well (or maybe the splitters were CF, I forget).

Thanks...yeah, I have been trying to find CF rear diffusers, but the only ones I found are for the E63, because the regular E's diffusers are so subtle (unless you know something I don't know and you have seen one?).
And I didn't want to start doing lips, skirts, etc. because I was afraid it may make the car look too "sports car, E63-ish", which isn't quite the look I am going for. I want something sporty, but still classy/OEM/sophisticated at the same time. Hope that makes sense.
Makes perfect sense... that's why I haven't done the same with mine lol. I actually wouldn't mind a OEM E63 diffuser, so I can fit some different tips on my mufflers, but haven't tried real hard to source one. But I also want to keep mine "sporty but classy" ... it's also why I haven't gotten the large star grille or flat hood emblem and I don't plan to.

I think the E63 diffuser just pokes out too far from the bumper and actually prefer the look of the normal sport bumper diffuser. I can't describe the protruding diffuser/tailpipe look in a way that is not derogatory, and I love AMG!
Yeah it seems like it sticks out a bit on the FL version, but I think the pre-FL version is about the same as the regular sport bumper (as far as its protrusion). Just wider tip opening, and without the bolt-on muffler tips. But I haven't looked too closely to know for sure.

I agree and think these changes would look good on a white or black E class.
