Awesome...so are they going to do the inspection and provide another key and give it to you for $24,500? Or are they dropping it down to $24,500 considering/compensating for those items?
Also, are you financing or paying cash?
I ask because you can get your bank/dealership to roll in the NC state taxes to the price/loan, then you can get a "refund check" & in turn use those funds to pay your tax/tag/registration fees at DMV, since you are buying from out of state (at least that how it worked the last time I purchased a vehicle from GA).

Hopefully I can get it inspected in Charlotte and they would still honour me the expenses that come after it.
Charlotte 132point check inspection is 145$ only.
So, I want to get the inspection here, if it fails any, they should reimburse me for those fixes. That would be a fair deal, so, I can save 100$ and the total cost would be 24980'ish.

the dealer is still getting the quotes for extended warranty.
On the other hand, the dealer did 125 pt. Inspection, is doing the 142 pt at Atlanta necessary? Or is it better to waste that 264$ and have peace of mind?

Back in Aug 2013 I bought a 07 E350 from a private party with 49k miles. My local credit union charged approx $2200 for a 5 year or 5ok extended warranty. Do the math! M-B factory warranty expired on the first car you were looking at when it hit 50k. The only warranties available will be 3rd party. Good Luck!

The guy came to 26k flat, not additional keyfob, but he will fix up everything after the pre-purchase inspection (in there are any failures).
I tried for 26k flat with 2 keys.
Shall I pull the trigfer for either ones?
Thanks for your patience with me, guys.

Yeah, it was a good fight but you can always get another key later, especially if you are the only driver. Is the $26k an OTD price, including title/tags/dealer fees/NC state tax?

Keyfob is anywhere from $300-$500. Keyless go keyfobs are more like $500. Get the best discount you can from him for the keys, then use that $100 off $200 service coupon mentioned in another thread and try to combine that when ordering the key. I knew that price was too high to be an MB warranty. Their cut from that 3rd party is probably higher than MB. Just get an MB warranty from those guys in the extended warranty forum. It's about 2k and it's better than most 3rd party warranties. The issues most people have with 3rd party warranties is that they deny claims and tend to go out of business. Not all of them do that, but why take the risk? MB should be around and don't tend to give people any problem on warranty repairs.

My best friend got GWC on his E350 and he was pretty happy, in fact he just "extended" his extended warranty with them. The only thing I would fight for is $0 deductible, and make sure you get all the extra contract riders (i.e. AWD system, advanced electronics), as these cars are expensive to repair and the exclusions in fine print can bite you.

2. Yes, I'm waiting on a reply from that thread for warranty prices.

Np, you are very welcome...glad I can help you thru this major purchase.
As far as the key goes, just negotiate with different MB dealers...as prices can vary greatly. As far as warranty goes, weigh your options: see the ROI of aftermarket (i.e. amount of miles/length of time, compared to price) vs. MB extended warranty (that is, granted you are even eligible and they will give you a waiver on being out of original miles/years period).
The aftermarket gives you 4 real years and 48k additonal miles. The MB gives you up to 7 years from in-service date and up to 100k mi. This could make a difference, especially if the car was put in service mid-2013 (so since you are already @ 2017 and 50k mi, essentially you would be getting a 3yr/50k mi warranty).
Just patiently weigh the options, I'm here if you need more help.

Yes, I'll take some time to do my research, until that, I'll buy temporarily from that dealer itself to get prorated refund, once I get a better deal.
BTW, the Manager called me and he said 26k for the final price. And he actually hangup on me, when I'm trying to explain I'm taking a day off on wednsday to come pick up the vehicle from out of state and buying the keyfob on my own and set the price to 25.500. I'm waiting on the other guy to call me and settle it.

hey bro, they are firm at 26,600 with only one key fob.the manager(definitely rude with me over 500$) is not willing to help me, and he tied the hands of the sales guy. Should I still go with the deal or just call off? Frankly speaking I will not take the vehicle there again and won't see that store again even.

The other sales guy just doesn't care either, he says, why are you in a rush, because this is the best price you can get, blah blah etc.
So, 26,300 is their final. Compared to my 2013, white one at the beginning of this thread comes around <21,500 including taxes and stuff. This is 27k for collision detection, keyless go and 6k less miles.
