2014 W212 E350 4Matic
I have the iPod connection in the center console. The iPod is full of songs & all charged. I plug in the MB cable & the iPod searches continually & never plays a song. But the iPod works in many other cars. Any idea what is happening, or not happening?

you may have too many songs - there is a limit of 4,000 for the system
I moved my songs to a solid state USB drive and setup up folders by category, then loaded the songs into each. initial load takes a couple min but after that, it's pretty quick

I have maybe 1000 songs fully organized by artist and album folders. Just got the car back from the software update. Going to unplug from Lexus and directly into Wagon now... fingers crossed.
