I have the iPod connection in the center console. The iPod is full of songs & all charged. I plug in the MB cable & the iPod searches continually & never plays a song. But the iPod works in many other cars. Any idea what is happening, or not happening?

I am having audio playback issues as well. Same year car and everything. I'm scheduled for a firmware update tomorrow morning.

you may have too many songs - there is a limit of 4,000 for the system

I moved my songs to a solid state USB drive and setup up folders by category, then loaded the songs into each. initial load takes a couple min but after that, it's pretty quick

I have maybe 1000 songs fully organized by artist and album folders. Just got the car back from the software update. Going to unplug from Lexus and directly into Wagon now... fingers crossed.

Software update must have fixed the issue. Works great now.

The print out from the dealer mentioned that the update resolves some common playback issues and known bugs.
