2015 E350 cruise control, aux battery, beeping questions :)
But I do have a couple of questions. When I set the cruise control to 75, then drive for a while, then tap the brakes to slow down. Now traffic is going let's say 65, when I turn the cc back on and try and set it for 65, it immediately accelerates back to 75. It's that normal?
Second question, when I first start the car there's a series of beeps. I'm assuming to remind me to fasten my seat belt. Sometimes while I'm driving around town I'll get two more beeps. There's nothing going on. Any idea what that may be?
Last question, I'm sure this is a breather tube, but I can't figure out what it attaches to. Any ideas?
2) The beeps when starting your car is for seat belt, if your hearing beeps while driving its probably the car trying to get your attention as you might be using your signal indicator and there is a car in your blind spot, car in front of you approaching too closely or some other safety feature.
3) Can't help you with the tube, looks like a breather, but my battery is not in the same spot as yours. Other members input?
I haven't figured out the beeps in my car yet, I am only a week into owing mine.
I believe that battery in the trunk runs your accessories when the eco function shuts your car off at a stop light.
There are other members here who have more knowledge and will chime in soon.
Enjoy your ride!
1. Here is the best video explaining cruise control:
2. When it beeps in the middle of your travel; do you see any lights on the tach? Like, there is a car ahead of you; and trying to activate "Forward Collision Warning" system?
You have aux battery, meaning you have adaptive cruise control, lane departure(Which I don't believe makes sound); blind spot assist (will definitely beeps, if you have any vehicle in your blind spot).
3. Here is how it is setup in my car, 2014.
So, here it is, for you.
