start with changing the cabin filter and spraying lysol in the plastic intake cowl. That usually does it for me.
The condenser coil is the one in front of the engine and doesn't contribute to any interior smell. The evaporator coil is within the climate system just after the cabin filter and can be cleaned with something like this - . Folks used to recommend einszett klima cleaner but I can't seem to find that online now.

Smells like sweaty feet or sour when you turn on AC when it has been sitting outside all day? Did everything in this video. Been 3 weeks, no more smell.

I did this last week along with a fresh cabin filter. Problem solved. At worse, the problem is 90-95% resolved. (I find myself sniffing a lot trying to detect any remnants of the smell/feeding my paranoia). Night and day difference from before. For the miniscule cost difference, I'd consider running through 2 cans one at a time through the entire process next time if/when the problem ever returns.
