My 2013 E350 Sport recently stopped decoding AM HD stations. The dealership had the car overnight and told me the technician said a software upgrade was performed, and the vehicle was drove for two minutes before AM HD stations were received. When I picked up the car after hours, the AM HD was not working. I know there is a radio menu which activates HD , and it is turned to the ON position. (FM HD works fine.). AM HD used to activate 2 to 3 seconds after tuning a station. The dealer is at a loss as to why it is not working and seems to think it is a software issue. I think that the hardware is defective myself, but it's been a month with no answers. Anyone seen this before?

Haven't seen this before but then again I rarely use AM. In fact I didn't know there was such a thing as AM HD until this post. Now I have to try it.

You will be surprised. It's stereo and full frequency/dynamic range.

Well there are supposedly 4 AM HD radio stations in my area but none came up as HD when I tuned that in. Not sure if it ever worked as I hadn't tried it before.

Can anyone else try this and see if they receive AM HD? Maybe the broadcast specs changed and our radio can no longer receive it...
