722.9 default mode (S/C)

I know the mode is set to Comfort by default when starting the engine but has anyone figured out how to make Sport the default ? Is there a hidden menu somewhere that could change the default mode of the transmission ?

I like having the transmission use 1st gear when getting away from a light. After having driven a manual transmission for many many years, it feels odd to me when this transmission starts off in 2nd.

so far it is judged impossible.

But my 2014 always starts on 1st gear even when ECO mode will not turn the engine off at red light.

It looks like I'll have to get used to switching from C to S when I get into the car.

Yeah, it would be great if there was a way to have it start with the last setting. But not possible.

I agree that it would be nice to keep the last mode, but I never felt a lack of torque when I am in C mode. That if i don't see someone who obviously wants to race, then I switch to the S
