A few questions:

So after 1 year of ownership of my 2014 E350 I still love it. Only issues are a couple that I would like to see if anyone has had here on this board that can help. 1. Oil consumption, my car is at 35,000 miles under warranty for another 5 years (factory extended). But at about every 5000 miles it seems I need to half 1/2 to a a full quart of oil. Is that normal? Ok then off topic is that with this factory extended warranty can I put on any after market exhaust, this is one thing about these cars that is really not up to par for me IMHO. Anything out there that screw up the warranty that can make it sound a bit more aggressive?

Someone else brought up this same question before about aftermarket exhaust and warranties. I think the general consensus was to talk to the dealership about it first and see what they say.

I have seen a little loss between changes on my 2011 E550, but it always stays north of the min line so no need to add any. I've been told some loss is normal, but you should mention to dealer just in case.

In regards to the warranty questions, they could use an aftermarket exhaust as an excuse to deny any emissions or exhaust related claims. Again, doesn't hurt to ask before you've done anything.

2010 E550 here that uses some oil in between changes. Often right around the 8500-9500 mile mark in between changes, I'll get an alert to check oil at next refill. I sometimes will top it off or leave it, if it still well in safe zone. Seems to need no more then a half a quart if that when I've topped it off.

The dealership has said it is nothing to be concerned about when I've brought it up to them or got my service done there.
