I hear this knocking sound in the engine or transmission when starting the car and once warmed it goes away sometimes it stays longer after warm up and even when I drive and accelerate the knocking sound is louder and accelerates matching the acceleration of the car. Is this normal what is causing this?

Have you tried getting your exhaust checked? It makes that rattling tapping noise too and it sounded that it was coming from engine bay and it just happened the exhaust piping clamps were loose.

I have the same issue and its strange issue ever.


after my troubleshooting I can summarize it that knocking sound while driving is due to :


1- Fuel quality.
2- (this is highly expected) Gas pedals balancing and it must be by programming not manual. ( i had tried this and it was succeeded).


for point number one I made the fuel getting semi empty and after refill it was disappear.


for engine start I think its normal as my dealer has informed
