Hardwiring Dash Cam Install (Help!)
I just got my Dash Camera, the two channel "thinkware f770" with parking mode. So my question, before I post the DIY on a seperate thread, i need to find a good ignition fuse and a good fuse thats always "on."
From what I read I need a ignition fuse so it can distinguish between parked and when driving. Already have thr wires running to the front fuse box under the hood.

Thanks for the link, but that only goes over the rear fuse. I guess if it comes to it, i'll just have to buy some more wiring since my "hardwire kit" doesn't have the long enough wiring.
Possible I can have a constant and Igition fuse tap from the front or are the front fuses not recommended to tap into??

I have the same camera with rear facing camera for my E350. You will need to wire it to the rear fuse box. You will definitely need wiring long enough to tuck under the trim and into the trunk's fuse box. It's very easy to route the wiring. https://www.blackboxmycar.ca/ was able to send me a hard wiring package that was more than long enough. They deal a lot with Mercedes.
