Moving on...to a gasp.....Chevy! ;-)
After 5 years and 2 W212's (along with an SLK and a CLK) I've decided to make a change. Got tired of borrowing a truck and was a truck guy just a few years ago. Hopefully it grows back on me. Time will tell! A lot of good info and good people here and I'll miss the interactions. Hope to pop in from time to time. I'll look thru the garage, I think I have some winter mats and raised center caps...Will post up if I locate.

I think it'll be a big relief......I want a change too......just don't know what kind.......
MB's aren't all they're cracked up to be, but it was a good ride I'm sure.
Stay well

Mitch, you *******! Ha! That is a very nice truck and you need to own what works best for you. No sense in driving around in something that doesn't fit all of the requirements. I'm sure with all of your MB experience, you'll be back here with something new shortly. Enjoy that beast!

Man that looks nice. I always had a truck in past years, now I'm the car driver in the family
You could not pry my wife out of her 2011. Makes it easy to find gifts for her, I just add to the truck lol. I'm the designated pit crew and maintenance guy.

Well at least you moved onto something MB doesn't offer...yet. Even so, can't blame you for switching. Still don't see a W213 in my future but who knows.

Well since MB decided no one in the states wanted their truck, guess we don't get them.....kind of cool though

Good luck with the truck. I came from a truck (Tundra) to a Benz (first an older c230 then the e350), but I kept the truck for when I needed the truck. They are handy to have around.

Picked it up last night. Here's the pic at delivery Fit and finish is not even close to a Benz, but the infotainment system is epic and the Bose is pretty good, but not HK!! The Chevy app is cool, being able to lock/unlock/start the car from anywhere will come in handy at some point.. Far ahead from where my 2010 was.

Not to wish bad luck for you but you need lots of good luck with a GM vehicle.
But everyone for him / herself. I bought the MB but I never got rid of my 1995 Dodge 1500 4 x 4. A truck is needed in a household in my opinion so the truck sits and gets about 1000 miles / year (or less) as it is only needed to get something that does not fit in the 2017 Durango.

I hear you, I'm hearing they've gotten a lot better....time will tell....I extended the bumper to bumper to 7years/90k for $1200. My brother in law has had one for 2 years 40k miles, zero issues...I'll hope for the same luck

When you get past the first year or so, or when the new truck smell has faded, go pick up a toy car, maybe something like an R129 SL500. Something after 95 that doesnt have the wire harness issue. It will keep you tinkering and should be a blast to drive, esp in the summer with the top down.

I've always maintained Chevy trucks have the most comfortable seats known to man. Of course, my *** has never sullied the likes of a Bentley or Maybach, so it's all relative....

Relative or not but the most comfortable seat of all cars I have ever owned was in the 2004 Chevy Tahoe. The only seat that comes close to it is in MB S-class that I have experienced numerous times with rental cars in Germany.
