Iridium Silver Luxury 4matic - Stock vs AMG Wheel Pics

raja777m might be interested in seeing these before/after pics... I just put my old AMG wheels on our new E250 4matic. Wasn't sure how they would look on the 4matic / Luxury trim. I'm sure someone will comment that the car would need to be lowered a bit for it to look right!

I like it better with the AMG rims, as is. No need to lower, unless you want to.

I don't really want to lower, but I was just worried that it looks too "elevated" with the AMG rims for some reason. I guess I'm just used to seeing these rims on our old car which was a RWD Sport.

Thanks for the feedback!

Doesn't look too bad; looks a little odd combined with the plain Luxury front fascia...but definitely a step up from the base model wheels.

Curious: how do you still have these wheels from your old Sport model? Did you trade it or keep it? Were these an extra set of wheels that you kept, but traded your old car with a different set of wheels?

Yes, our 2014 E250 had the sport package but it came with stock wheels, so I found a set of new take-off AMG wheels to buy on Craigslist. I kept the original wheels in storage and never got around to selling them. When I sold the first car, I put the stock wheels back on it and kept the AMG wheels for our next one. I was after another E250, but with Distronic this time. Since the sport package is so common, I was expecting our next one to have it too.
