Follow link, choose vehicle and review COMAND manual or call dealer for confirmation - process may be VIN dependent due to vehicle production date.

Yes, I did that before my original post. It doesn't answer my question. It appears the 2011 was DVD based and the 2012 may be SD card based, but I am finding conflicting info. It could be possible the change was sometime during the 2012 MY. Since the dealer is not open today, I was hoping someone on here would have the answer.
