Here's something I came across .....
I decided that I would still go ahead and re-do the tail-lights again as I want the tint perfect and not just "ok". Just poking around the internet, rather than the ebay sourced VVivid tint, I looked on the VVivid website which has an online store as well. I noticed that they offer "2017 VViViD+ Light Smoke Air-tint® Headlight Tint" which seems to be an updated version of the VVivid tint that I have bought. I'm not 100% sure of this, just an assumption based on the description of the tint that I bought vs the VVivid website tint. The stuff I bought is genuine, has the Vvivid logo on the backing paper but I wonder if it's an older version of the film.
Anyway, a 1 x 5 roll with shipping was $26 so I popped for a roll to see the difference. I'll be up to about $50 for these stinking lights lol but I'm curious to see this through, especially if it applies easier.
If you are considering the tint, take a look at the website and see what you think.

I read that there is like a vivid7 (which is an older version if i understood right) and now they got this vivid8 which is a newer version that supposed to be better and easier to apply.
as of now.. i spent 13$ on my first tint which didnt work out , and now planning on buying Vivid for about 20 bucks to give it a shot.

way easier to work with than the one i got the first time. And vivid was only a few bucks more.

That looks really nice, thanks for posting up the info on the VVivid+.
The tint on mine has laid in well enough that I am tempted to leave it but I already have the VVivid + coming, your comments reinforce my initial plan to replace what I have now.
Looking for that perfect install such as Hsg08 shows, and I think yours is that way as well.

heatgun is a must though , it does lay down nicely by itself , but u wouldnt be able to wrap the little bump on outter lights. Also would be helpful if u can get someone to help you , but if not , you should be just fine.
Vivid+ premium is recommended for the price/quality
Edit : i wish it was a little bit lighter though... but i think i just need to get used to it lol

Just a quick comment - I received the "VVivid +" tint and it is definitely different than the VVivid material I had previously received. It has what looks like a "micro-grid" on the adhesive side, but overall tint level looks to be about the same shade. I have not installed it yet but only pointing out that there is indeed a difference in materials for anyone considering the purchase.
