Just installed Sprint Booster
I ordered a Sprint Booster after a recommendation from Zeemob. It arrived within a week and I had it installed in my E350 within a half hour (including time to clean and detail the accelerator pedal). Very easy to install. Although there are various settings that can be used, I just left it the way it came out of the box. As soon as I drove the car I could feel the difference. No hesitation and much crisper acceleration.
Hands down, this is one of the best mods I have done!

I was simply sharing my experience. My car feels measurely more responsive with the Sprint Booster installed. So I would recommend this mod.

Funny that you read lots of pros and cons for these little gadgets.
I've been debating whether or not to install one of these on my E500 but wanted to wait until after I get the AMG mufflers installed and ECU tune from Eurocharged.
Figured maybe the tune would solve the throttle lag but maybe it's best to do both.

Sorry didn't mean to be rude or anything. Just wanted to inform you on why it 'felt" more responsive. On my last example, if i was saying 30% throttle = 50% power with sprint booster off, since your foot is not tuned to press at 10% for 50% power with booster on, you automatically by memory will press on throttle at 30%. Now with booster on, 30% throttle is now more like 80% power. That's why you 'feel' a change, but what's really happening is you're just stepping on your car harder without realizing it.
Bahnstormer i had a c63 muffler with ecu tune on my old 211 e550. muffler was 100% worth it, tune was only about $400 but for ~10-15 hp I'm not sure if it's worth it. Definitely does widen the power band though with a tune.

Ultimately it comes down to how you feel about your purchase. It you like it keep it. For me i just could not justify my purchase of one. Its almost the same price as an ecu tune on those n/a engines. The w211 has this thing called a sneaky ecu reset. It gives you the same feeling of more responsiveness but its completely free.

Not sure what Lemonsqueezy is basing his opinion on. I will tell you for a fact if you have an E350 the Sprintbooster is hands down AMAZING. The difference it makes is immediate and not imaginary. Regardless I think everyone should know that it doesnt increase any horsepower but what it does do is reduce/eliminate any throttle lag. The car comes to life. If you are skeptical, buy it and if you dont like it, return it. I assure you, you wont.

My opinion is based off me owning and using a sprint booster module for almost 5 years on my last e550, going back and forth between off, green mode and red mode. Yes I do feel the initial
difference after I switch settings, but over time it made me realize just how much more/less input was required by my foot to achieve the same result.
For me, it wasn't an expensive purchase, but just one I could not justify. But it sounds like everyone else is happy with their purchases so I'll just leave it at that.

That's an interesting point about 350 vs 550. If I had a complaint it would be the numbness in the pedal. I've done the pedal reset a number of times but I really don't see a big difference. I've wondered about the net effect of the SB on the 350, seems maybe worth a try at least.

What did he installation process consist of?

Installation is to unbolt the gas pedal from floor. It has two plastic size 13 mm hex heads. Then un-connect the harness from the pedal and install the adapter between the harness and the pedal. Then bolt the pedal back on floor routing the wires so they are not tangled or pinched. Then mount the SB control somewhere in the middle console and tug the wire under the plastic trims around the foot well.
One caution: At the beginning after turning the car OFF open the driver's door and wait for about 7-8 minutes so the car goes "dead" before you un-connect the gas pedal harness. This way you will not get any error codes.

Install cannot be any easier
like Arrie said — wait 7 minutes before disconnecting any harnesses and leave driver’s door open during this time. Same goes with uninstalling it

My honest opinion would be to return it. Sprintbooster by no means defeats the throttle lag. All it does is lower the threshold on how far your foot actually has to press down. Meaning with sprint booster off, you may press pedal 30% to get 50% power, with sprint booster on, your foot now only has to travel maybe 10% to hit that 50% power. All it does it simply trick you into thinking it feels crisper. Once your mind and foot adjusts to how much you have to press the throttle, you're back to square one.

My response earlier I believe breaks down the clear difference between responses. 550=little to no effect / 350=major response/effect

The way I understand it there is an artificial delay (a time delay, not a pedal movement delay) imposed by the computer in many cars, Mercedes and BMW among them. Presumably to be easy on the drivetrain or something. Analogous to the clutch delay valve that is on all BMWs and Porsches with stick shift. Sprintbooster is supposed to remove that delay.
Obviously, the car manufacturer can choose to implement as much or as little delay as they like. It would not surprise me one bit if a E550 had less delay than a E350 simply to make it appear more attractive on dealer test drives.
Whether Sprintbooster *actually* does that I do not know. What I do know is that cars with all the power in the beginning of gas pedal traverse suck royal rotten donkey *****.

Hey, I just would like to chime in on this topic.
I’ve owned SB roughly for 2 weeks, and I love the throttle response in the city.
But during highway driving, especially with cruise control on, I felt like SB is eating up way too much gas. My mpg dropped from a regular of 32 on the highway to only 26.
Setting was under Sport 5 (green, as default).

Sounds like the consensus is that it works on the 350, not the 550. I would probably still recommend a tune over sprintbooster because a tune will actually give you a better or wider power band.
I'm glad all you 350 owners are getting positive results. 👍

I used to drive a 2011 E350 and now drive 2010 E550. I had the old model SP on the E350 and now have the new more options SP model on My E550. SP worked fine on the E350 and so does the new SP model on my current E550. It fixes the throttle delay, which is one of the most annoying issues with this car. Mine really works so I don't know why it would not work for everyone...?
