2014 e550 maintenance

After much consideration i plan on doing my own maintenance. However i am unable to find any documentation on specifics to the e550. Is the maintenance schedule the same for the e550 same as he rest of the e class? If not does anyone have access to one specific to the E550? Also if any one has any tips on changing out items not mentioned in the documentation i would greatly appreciate the input.

No AMG unfortunately, and we'll just leave it as that
MB publish a maintenance booklet for their vehicles and these are online here. In these booklets, you'll be able to find what needs to be done for your car, as per factory recommendation. As far as I know, the E550 is officially not treated any differently than other E-klasse sedans/wagons, other than the diesels and AMGs. This makes sense as the E-klasse cars differ essentially by their engine types, and the M278 in the E550 is "merely" another turbocharged, wet sump, direct-injected, 4-cycle (under-stressed) V8 installed in a road car; extraordinary maintenance shouldn't be needed (like for a track car engine, for example). For what it's worth, the oil analysis done on my M278's used oil (by Blackstone Labs) did not indicate that my engine needed more than what's factory recommended.

What specifically are you interested in or concerned about, when you are thinking of an E550-specific maintenance schedule?

Just the basics, belts filters fluids, any mounts bushings etc.. i would like to be as proactive as possible without wasting money unnecessarily. I have a 50k (A) service coming up soon. I read its a good idea to start doing 5k filter changes at this point. I am curious if there are any other tips.

I'll be the last to discourage a proactive mindset, but I'm curious to know why the 5k filter changes. I guess an OEM Mann M278 filter is cheap enough, and the filter location is convenient, but why? Is the recommendation based on lab analysis, or review of failures?

the guy from https://mercedessource.com/problems/...-mercedes-benz recommends. They have helped me out a lot in the past with my older MB's.
