AC Issues

Hi everyone, a few days ago I turned my AC and have not been able to turn it off since. The light on the button remains on as well as the actual air conditioner. I did some research but haven’t found anything helpful yet.

Has as anyone had or heard of this issues? I suspect a fuse might be blown but I have no idea where to even look for something like that. Thanks for any help you can provide.

If anything, a blown fuse would not allow it to be turned on so I don't think it's that. You might have a blower motor regulator or some other sort of automated controlling mechanism failure. If you're not familiar with how the system works it's best to take it to a specialist who has a STAR scanner and get it sorted. Also, you could try disconnecting the main battery for a few hours and then reconnecting it again, sometimes it helps if it's a computer related issue.

What happens when you turn climate off? And then turn on again using auto?

Thank you, I'm dropping it off at the dealership later this week, I was just hoping someone might have had this issue before and found a simple fix.

AC is still on. I've tried about everything I can from the inside of the car

Sounds like a stuck relay is it is always on, even if climate is off. Good idea to get it checked out.

Fuse #66 is supposed to be for the AC system.
Pull the fuse out. That should stop it. If not, fuse #12 is tied to the AC system as well based on the diagrams I came across.
