And MOST Chinese sellers just sell as much as they can and then they dont give a s**t how it installs or works for the enduser. I do care and after selling like 500 units and helping out all my customers instalning I kind of get a feeling of wich type of customers this unit is for. So its just me sugesting, Im NOT stopping you or anyone from buying it. Just a sugestion not to.

Cant post it since it has my company name in it, so it gets censured. Not even in PMs.

Are you making updates available to all those who purchased from you? Or do we have to keep an eye on all the threads hoping we spot something and then ask you individually?
You will have all our emails so could pro-actively let us know. Would be a good way to keep your customers up to date.

Affraid i cant keep track of all in that way. And the updates are not that important to all. And when you install it ALL your settings and apps resets so I dont even recomend it if its not really needed for a special reason. Only thing added is the screen off button. But you sure can get it if you mail me. I also post news like this on the facebook and instagram page.

Here's my guess: the cause is how abrupt the Android tablet gets powered off when the car computer is shut down; the power is just cut suddenly.
Therefore Android doesn't have the time to flush all writes that are pending, to stop all the running programs and daemons, nor to unmount the partitions etc.
My advice: when you switch off the car computer and the Android tabler (by opening your door), make sure you didn't just start a program, an action, a song etc. If you did, wait a couple of seconds then open your door.

Will test that
They should implement a correct shut down of the system. As is , it's prompt to problems.

Didn't worked. Same message appeared the 2 times I started the car... 🤔

this is pretty much a bug report thread right now, and given the unit has tons of issues, even the new gen ones, BUT once you get used to "hey Siri, navigate to my next calendar appointment" or "hey Siri, play I'm afraid of Americans by David Bowie", yeah..... there is no way I'm ever going back to NTG4.0

And I have zero issues on my V2. Guess it depends alot on what you use it for and expect it to do. And I have no ntg5 then of course. (speaking as a enduser like you and NOT as a seller)

Now my only "issue" is the one above of keep doing app optimization EVERY time I start the car.
Some times it takes like 5 seconds, others can be as like 30 secondsor more.. It's not a deal breaker, but annoyes me...
Everything else is ok.
