10.25 inch android headunit installed

Just curious. But has anyone been able to to come up with a solution for the audio of the device. From what I read, for the audio to work it has to be done by an aux cable.
In my car, the six cord connector is inside the arm rest, I'm wondering if on the back of the head unit if you can split the aux connection so the android unit can be plugged in from behind the unit without having to route a wire all the way to the glove box.
I saw someone post a pic on this thread a dual fakra cord for the aux.

I just ordered the unit yesterday and was wondering what to do about the AUX.
My Media Connector and USB connectors are in the armrest too so I'd rather not take the whole center console apart to have a factory looking install.
Heisenberg, do you know which connector at the back of the COMAND is the AUX?
I have NTG4.7.
Would it be #8 USB connector?
Is this the dual fakra you are talking about?

Exactly. That is WHY Aux works via the quadlock on cars that dont have a external aux input. The conection is already in the cable kit. In my W166 I have sound without the aux conected even though I have a external aux it worked.

Gps
Anyone having troubles with GPS signal?
i have my gps antenna under the ”mesh" in dashboard. No cables in top of it.
The signal is sometimes erratic, changing position in "bumps".
And sometimes clearly out of place in the map...
I can not get a trustly navigation as in my phone!
Any setups that I can do? Any tests?

So I just found this, this would require removing the one set in place that I would assume makes the connection of the ami port work. And is just a cable with a male end.
I am wondering if someone sells a splitter to split the connection so that we don't loose the ami port completely.

I'm a bit confused now.
Which is the AUX port, the USB port or the Media Interface connector? (I have them both in the center armrest)
I connect my iPod to the Media Interface connector and the other end of the cable connects to the headphone jack on the iPod (with a short female to male adapter cable).
Then I select AUX on the COMAND to listen to music from the iPod.
If I want to watch video from the iPod then I need to use a different cable that attaches to the same Media Interface port but the other end goes into the charging port on the iPod.
So what is considered the AUX port?
By the way I could never connect my Android phone to the COMAND to watch videos from it, it only connects via Bluetooth, the USB plug doesn't do anything.
Thanks..

Not sure if someone replied to this yet, but I was able to leave the cables in from V1 and use them with the V2. The V2 does have two wifi antennas, although I've read one may be for using it with a sim card? I didn't have to rip out any old cabling, if that helps.

FYI for anyone interested. In the hidden menu for the AUX, you have to set the Vertical and Horizontal location of the AUX location in the Comand screen and mine only worked when I set the Vertical as Horizontal location, and Horizontal as Vertical location (possible translation issue?). For example, mine is set to Horizontal 10 and Vertical 2, although in the Comand menu, the Aux location is in the second (horizontal) menu from the left and the 10th (vertical) location from the top in that menu. And I noticed that 20s lag in switching from radio (Comand) back to Aux as well.

GPS in windshield makes a huge difference.
AUX settings..Very intresting...Lag? How you mean? For it to switch you mean? You have 4,5 or 5s1?

Just connect the quadlock and everything would work?
So there would be no need to route the AUX cable all the way to the center armrest, is that correct?
My car is a 2014 W212 with NTG4.7.
Thanks.
