Windshield distortion
Im pretty sure my mother in law's car has windshield distortion. I did a little bit of research and it does happen on some newer MBs.
Has anyone heard of such a thing and what is the best way to get this rersolved. Will the warranty cover this? The car was purchased at carmax
2015 e350 with 15k miles

Take it to the MB dealer and see what they will do for you. I assume the original warranty is still in effect, and that is clearly your best shot.

I had this on mine too. 2013 e350 wagon. Some of the quality issues with MB are unbelievable. Anyway, my distortion was in front of the passenger. I had it replaced under the factory warranty but the adviser said it was the first time he's done so. The shop forum took it for a ride and after 5 mins he saw it and suggested a replacement. Very nice of them to do so. Best part is the replacement was distorted as well. Not as bad but still worse than any other windshield I've ever had. 3 weeks later it got rock chip right in the distorted area. Seems to me its a sign of residual stress and poor manufacturing. I need to have it addressed but I'll try an aftermarket windshield.

I took it to the dealer yesterday.....wowo what ****ty service.
The sales manager was telling me this will not be a warranty item and was trying to get me to go back t carmax.
I set up an appointment at a different dealer even tho I had the shop foreman at the first place look at it and agree with me on the issue.
Dont go to MB of Rocklin if you are in Sacramento area.

Yea I made an appointment in Sacramento dealer and ill go this Saturday.
Ive heard bad things about both but Id rather not deal with the stuck up fuktards in rocklin. My friend used to work there, he told me all about the staff who work there now.
