I recently purchased the oem illuminated door sill kit, part number: A21868000359051

This kit is a bit different than the one for the w204 models since it doesn't come with the control box or trans boxes.

Would like to know if someone had these installed or know of how to do so. It comes with a wire harness and that's all.

Had mine installed by an audio shop. But I had to replace one illuminated sill due to the rubber around the edges of metal breaking off. As I can recall after taking off the sill and trim at base of door the wiring went under the sill trim and was spliced into the wire right there that goes to inside lights when you open door. I did not take pictures and I wish I did but If I ever have to replace another one I will definitely take a picture or two. Hope this helps a little.

Thank a lot for all the information. I spent several days looking for this diagram and maybe you can help me with a couple of questions. How do I connect the harness to the foward SAM? How can I pass the cables to the cabin? Besides the SAM , the sills and the ground, where and how do I connect the blue cables?
