2016 e63 - Replacing logic 7 audio system. help!
I just recently got a 2016 e63s. I am in love with just about everything about the car, save the sound system (and exhaust, but thats easy). im coming from my jeep with a 1200w full custom system.
i want to really make a killer system, not with an insane sub in the trunk or anything, but just upgrading what is there to maintain stock look from the outside. looking at trying to do full alpine, but kenwood and pioneer are options too. if there is another thread that answers these questions, please point me to it as i can't find it. I will just be buying the parts, going to have a professional install it all.
here's what i know and what I don't:
5x 80mm speakers, 1 front dash 4 in the doors.
is this just a strange size? searching for 80mm speakers yields few results. what size should i be looking for to replace/could anyone point me to a replacement by one of the brands above?
4x 43mm tweeters, 2 in mirror sails 2 in rear doors
Okay so with these im looking to replace them with Alpine SPR-10TW. is that a good idea? bad idea? should i leave these alone?
4x 165mm speakers, in the doors
these are easy! 6.5 in, right? thinking about alpine R-S65, which the built in tweeters may be enough to handle not replacing the 43mm
1x 200mm x 270mm Sub
this is 7.9 (8?) x 10.6 (10? 11?) in inches. i have no idea what size to look for to replace this.
and finally... the amp. I am helpless here.. suggestions?
