Ok, I finally took the plunge and got them installed at a local shop. I also went and installed the illuminated star myself :-). See attached photos.
They look nice, although I do have an issue with the driver side led "tubes" (couldn't think of the right word) in that they flicker when I start the car. When the engine is turned off, the flickering stops. This only happens on the driver side with the "tubes" and the low and high beams look fine (i.e. they don't flicker even after the car has started). Any ideas as to what might be causing it?
Thanks

Looks like the LEDs are too heavily saturated in certain areas of the "tubes".

I was hoping the OP would report back on that light tube flickering issue he had. These look like a great, easy upgrade (even though the static LED's in my opinion are super bright and great already)

This is a must for those without the full led package .. to the op.. they look great .I would live with the lil flickering issue ! Lol when I was sourcing my 212 ..the led package was a must ..but this is a nice alternative

Hi Everyone! New Member here, just picked a 2016 E350 4Matic and I have the Standard Full LED Headlamps. Not fond of them, I like the look of the Dynamic LED Units but the price of the OEM ones are crazy! I love this alternative, any feedback on them? Thanks!

Congratulations on your new E class. By "standard full LED" you mean the low beam LED with high beam Halogen, correct...??? This is the only place which I have found some feed back with a member upgrade on these headlights. Keep watching this space. Good luck.

Yes, you are correct! LED Low Beam, Crappy High Beam. Thank You for your kind words, will watch this, I may be a Guinea Pig for this project.

This is an interesting alternative for the LOOK of full LED, but as discussed is not. There is nothing dynamic about them; no active curve illumination or self leveling features as in the OEM Full LED.

So I took the dive and decided to upgrade the OEM LED Headlights to the Depo European Full LED Headlights and I upgraded the grill to a AMG E63 Grill and lighted MB Star. Love the look, love the brightness of the new headlamps, love the updated look also of the daytime LED. Total cost installed of Headlights, OEM E63 Grill, Lighted OEM MB Star was $550.00. Would have done it myself but don’t have the time to do it. Here is a pic....

No offence guys, but judging headlight by the frame looks is for women.
They suppose to match handbag anyway.
My newest stable edition come with LED and I am not fun of them becouse of distorision.
Right now we have 3 cars in stable 1 having projection halogen, 2nd xenons and 3rd with LED.
I love xenons for crispy beams, but they take time to warm up. Not really big issue with our freeway driving, but for guys on highways, where you have to change the light often it might.
LED as I mention don't produce the best light, but they save energy and allow for quick flash.
Projection halogen in comparison is like "did I turn my lights on? "
