So , I'm Just Curious, how many people buy Es and Ss and then sport them up. What age group actually goes and buys a luxury car and sports it up. Personally , if i wanted to do up a car , it would'nt be a merc. I kind feel it looses it's dignity and respect. Specially the E, S and GL . I might take a chance with a C class or the A class but that's it.
- 22-24" wheels with raised suspension
- avocadisch green
- white stripes front to rear bumper like those you see on Vipers.
It was no Viper at all. My econo 4-banger diesel passed it easy
But there is thin line to everything. The only modifications I do to my MB are wheels and I really like the looks some staggered wheels give. Never got staggered for practical reasons.Than with dark car - chromed wheels look really good, even MB never chromed factory wheels.
I still hold set of classic monoblocks and see if I can make them working on W212.
I still like the start on hood.

Damn , so many people are so quick to judge others for their tastes and likes.
there will be as many opinions as many people out there.
adding a personal touch to stand out from other stock E's is smth i wanted. Dont care wat people think..... because i know it looks much better than most of the cars anyways.

Mine is in the shop having some touch ups done and pdr for misc dings removed. I also have my front carbon lip here which I'm having clear coated for an extra touch of protection and will install it once the front bumper plate bracket holes are filled and bumper is resprayed. Hopefully everything should be done by the end of the week. I wouldn't call it murdered out, but I'm happy with it's appearance. I like the sporty look but appreciate the 4 door utility and comforts. I guess it's all a matter of perspective. I'm in my mid/late 30's as far as the demographic question is concerned.

Pretty much just comes down to personal preference. I like being able to tell my car apart from all other E's out there. When I see my modified hood and the carbon lip, I know its mine. Little things sets your car apart from others and I'm sure that's a reason why people change it up, to make it more special, to themselves. None of the examples above look overdone, at least I personally don't think so.

Just when we thought this 18-month old thread had died and gone forgotten.
