Halogen to HID?

I have a 2010 E350 4MATIC W212 and all my lights are starting to burn out so I plan on replacing all the lights. As for the headlight, I know it is halogen but can I get something like this (
Amazon Amazon
) . I also saw a video of a guy plugging it into the car and it worked, but will I be able to close the capsule or turn the lid and close the headlight section because the light has a lot bigger back end. Also will it give an error light? Is it also legal to use this light into a halogen reflector or whatever.

Those won't work as you'll need canbus enabled kit. If interested, we have Morimoto hid conversation kits that are canbus enabled and will work without issue.

I meant Halogen to LED that are both H7. My worry is that it will not fit in the waterproof compartment and i cant close the lid because the bulb is alot bigger than a halogen.

You'll want ribbon cooling and not fan cooling then.
