Thank you for your reply. I am wondering if it is the battery voltage, it is only registering 11.9 volts before the alternator takes over and it then goes up to the usual 14.6 volts. I did open a discussion about the Blind Spot Assist being inoperative a week or so ago and somebody suggested that it is possibly a new battery that is required.
