Spare tire inflation
I thought I would check the pressure in the spare. Only had the car six months, but had no idea if the spare was correctly inflated. Believe it or not you have to remove the jack and tools, take the tire out and flip it over in order to access the schrader valve.
BTW-Love the car. Very different than my last three BMW's.

At least you have spare. With my AddBlue tank, I am carrying spare inside the trunk, or into the cabin as I don't like the idea of driving on desert without one.
Spares tend to loose pressure faster than the wheels in use, so I always inflate them to max the tire allows.

I remember the spare tire I had in a 60's VW Beetle that utilized the air from the spare tire for the windshield washer fluid. Seriously, when the spray would get weak you needed to put more air in the spare. How's that for ingenuity and stupidity all at the same time?

I removed couple of those connectors from Beetles and used them to make brake fluid bleeders.
Additional part was reservoir cap, that removed from BMW would fit MB and had hole in the center where hose from Beetle fit without modification.
Coming to spares - MB is not including them in TPMS, what sucks.
Manufacturers don't care about car owner convenience that you can not see at the time of purchase.
My new Ford Truck dually has full-size spare, but I have aluminium rims on the outsides, the spare is steel rim. So the $300 tire most likely will rotten never used.
