USB TO MY PHONE, DOES IT WORK IF I USE A DAC?
So my parents own a 2010 E550, and the car was most likely bought without the multimedia package, considering the car does not have a AUX input. So that being said, I'm cuirous if use a DAC (digital to analoge converter) will work. The idea i have is to connect a DAC via USB, which from there I connect a 2 RCA cable to AUX 3.5mm will work in the 'media interface' option.
Again, the DAC is connected via usb and then I will connect a 2 RCA to AUX 3.5mm cable to the DAC that will be connected to the car.

If its a USA car, there should be a media interface plug in the glove box, you just need to buy one of these and you have AUX. I think the AUX inly shows up in the menu if the MMI cable is inserted, I could be wrong.
