Sprint Booster
Hai! I have a 2010-e550, definitely the best car I've ever owned in my life. I am curious about sprint boosters.. but I know nothing about them. I did some research (probably didn't spend enough time) on it but I'm not getting the overall picture.
what is it?
How does it work?
how much?
where to buy?
how to install?
benefits/drawbacks?
Thanks in advance for all contributions.

From what I know, all it does is make your car think you're pushing the pedal further than you actually are. So it seems like your car is more peppy, but if you just floored it all the time without the sprint booster, it would basically have the same effect. It's super easy to install. I ended up not bothering to buy one since it doesn't actually enhance performance. Basically just tricks your car.

I installed Sprint Booster on my 2003 E500 along with AMG mufflers, Speed43 airbox, Eurocharged mid-length headers and ECU tune, resonator delete with x-pipe.
Car hauls *** and I'm extremely happy with all the mods.
The Sprint Booster eliminates 90% of the throttle lag and really compliments the tune - don't think you can get the same effect by just pressing the gas pedal harder.

+1 on everything Peachy said, I had it on my n/a 550, it's all lies for $300. It just shortens the threshold on pedal travel, so all you're getting out of it is just the same power with less foot travel, but your brain thinks you're getting quicker power when in reality if you were lead footed, you'd get the same result. I'd recommend maybe a $400 eurocharged ecu tune over the sprintbooster for the n/a 550
