Should be normal to consume 1-2 liters of oil before every 10,000 mile oil change... v8 should definitely consume more than a 350... there should definitely be an oil stick between the engine and firewall, probably closer to the driver side..Should be bright orange..

When you get this message add a quart of oil and you'll be good to go. That is what the manual advises.

Mine loses some between changes and gets down to the min line. Not enough to trigger the dash warning though. Just check the level about once every 4-6 weeks now that you know where the dipstick is. Mine has a blue top and is at the middle rear of the engine..

Yes found it easy,,blue stick driver side,,Amazon sent me 6 QTS Mobil 1 ,,overnite..Good to go..Level was midway in the safe range,,,so I guess I'll just drop the whole quart and beat it hard on the way to work.😈🇺🇸thanks mates.

I was getting this notification after maybe couple thousand miles after i did an oil change. So couple months ago i decided to wash my engine bay.. and after a closer look i found my reason... i had an oil leak from oil cooler and oil filter housing.
i said that with a point that check around your engine for oil spots , just in case. Its been about 2 weeks now... so far so good. Hopefully wont see that message again.
just a little story.

p.s. at first i did think that the engine is just burning some oil and that is fine... but things arent so simple sometimes.
